Cloud Field
In this project, I used physics-based simulation plugins in Grasshopper to model site-specific data including precipitation, terrain, and topographic variation. These simulations informed the design of both the landscape system and the visitor circulation routes, grounding design decisions in the site’s actual environmental characteristics.
The project explores the positive impact of landscape and multisensory experience on human perception and emotional well-being. Through rich environmental storytelling, the design aims to provide visitors with a restorative physical and psychological experience.
Using “cloud” as the central conceptual motif, all architectural forms were developed around this core imagery. Functionally, an integrated water circulation system was established, enabling the farm to operate as a true “weather farm” that transforms climatic conditions into both spatial and experiential drivers.
