Major in Design and Psychology
Xiaoxi Xu is a designer and an intermedia narrative explorer. She studied environmental design at the Academy of Art and Design, Tsinghua University. Her research areas include spatial design, digital fabrication, and game design, particularly in the field of educational technology.
With a background in psychology, she is familiar with user research and has gained considerable programming skills through project practice. She has a strong research interest in the application of AI in education.
Outside of academia, Xiaoxi is also a third-degree black belt in Taekwondo. She leads the Taekwondo team at Tsinghua University in training every semester and also offers self-defense courses for women in intimate relationships. She is an enthusiast of extreme sports, enjoying activities such as diving and alpine skiing. She relishes the feeling of breaking through limits and is constantly trying to push various boundaries in life. In addition to design and psychology, she is learning knowledge in more fields to enrich her understanding.
